Project Overview
Redesigned the AIIMS Delhi HRFMS, a high-stakes legacy system managing payroll and records for 17,000+ staff. Completed as a live brief under C-DAC Noida, the project transformed a cognitively overwhelming, error-prone interface into a streamlined, high-clarity tool for non-technical users.

UX Research, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and High-Fidelity UI.
Design Approach
Cognitive Load Reduction: Shifted from "memorization" to "recognition" by surfacing primary actions and streamlining navigation.
Systemic Consistency: Standardized complex modules to ensure legacy data remained readable while maintaining strict compliance.
Precision-First Design: Optimized high-risk financial touchpoints to minimize data entry errors and increase operational safety.
Strategic Prioritization: Favored clarity over feature bloat to prevent user overwhelm within existing backend constraints.
Final Outcome
A high-fidelity interface that significantly improved data scannability and reduced training dependency. Success was validated through staff walkthroughs, confirming that critical actions are now more obvious and safer to execute.
